ARRIVAL BY CAR
From Munich, take the A95 highway in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen follow the signs to the Olympic Stadium. The Olympic Stadium serves as the main parking lot for visitors to the Partnachklamm Gorge. Once you arrive at the stadium, there are one paid parking space available.
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN & BUS
By train
- There are regular regional trains (Regionalbahn or Werdenfelsbahn) from Munich main station to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The journey takes around 1.5 hours.
- There are also direct train connections to Garmisch-Partenkirchen from Innsbruck and other nearby towns.
- From the train station to Partnachklamm Gorge
Bus to the Olympic Stadium:
- From Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station, take the local bus (line 1 or 2) in the direction of “Skistadion”. The bus stop is located directly in front of the station building. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes.
